Registration Policy
1. Registration Window: After the registration window for the fall or spring semester closes, no more students will be accepted until the following semester. This is to avoid disruption to existing students.
2. Registration System: ICF Sunday School will be using Procare, a classroom software designed to help teachers and administration manage students, communicate with parents, collect attendence, and track student process.
**ALL Students MUST be registered through Procare in order to attend ICF Sunday School. No exceptions will be made.
Tuition Payment Policy
1. Monthly Payments: Parents are responsible for making monthly tuition payments. Failure to make timely payments may result in the loss of enrollment for your child(ren).
2. Auto Pay: Enrolling in autopay is recommended to ensure your child's registration is secure and payments are made on time.
Drop-Off Policy
1. Timeliness: Please arrive on time for drop-off.
2. Escorting Students: Parents must escort children to the appropriate classroom AND sign them in before leaving.
3. Classroom Presence: Parents may not stay in the classroom during drop-off or when school begins to avoid disrupting the learning environment.
4. Communication: Parents can communicate with teachers through the Procare app or website. Teachers are not available for conferences while students are in class.
Attendance Policy
1. Reporting Absences: All absences must be reported to the teacher as soon as possible.
2. Extended Absences: If a student is absent for more than 4 consecutive Sundays, their registration may be dropped.
3. Calendar: We will follow the published calendar on this website. Any changes will be communicated through Procare and the community Whatsapp group.
4. Completion of Work: Students are required to complete all homework and missing work before returning from an absence.
Tardy Policy
1. Punctuality Requirement: Students must arrive on time to be marked present. Chronic tardiness will be recorded as absences.
2. Impact of Tardiness: Excessive tardiness can lead to loss of instructional time, affecting progress. Students who are consistently late may not advance to the next level and may be moved to a lower leveled class if progress is not made.
Dismissal Policy
1. Dismissal Time: Students will be dismissed at 1:30pm.
2. Dismissal Process: Parents must go to the child's classroom and sign the child out at the end of the day.
Behavior Policy
1. Importance of Behavior: Positive behavior is crucial for a productive learning environment. Misbehavior can disrupt not only the individual student's learning but also that of their peers.
2. Infractions and Consequences: Students who accumulate three infractions may be barred from returning to the school.
3. Immediate Actions: Destruction of property or harm to others will result in immediate disciplinary action.
4. Communication with Parents: Teachers will inform parents if behavior issues arise. Parents are encouraged to actively discuss their child's behavior both at the masjid and with teachers to address concerns promptly.
Emergency Drill Policy
1. Drill Schedule: We will conduct a fire drill and an active intruder drill each semester to ensure students are prepared for safety situations.
2. Seriousness: Students must take these drills seriously to effectively respond in an emergency.
3. Parental Involvement: Parents are encouraged to discuss emergency plans with their child at home. Everyone should be familiar with what to do and how to respond in case of an emergency.
Homework Policy
1. Parental Involvement: Parents are required to work with their child each week to review the material learned and prepare for upcoming classes.
2. Weekly Review: Regularly reviewing homework and class material at home helps reinforce learning and ensures students are ready for the next class.
3. Preparation: Parents should assist their child in understanding and completing assignments, and support them in being prepared for the next lesson.
Standard Tuition: $50 per month
*To qualify for reduced tuition, you must provide school administration with proof of either:
